Beautiful place to visit. I love the wild flowers and butterfly sanctuary they provide. My kids love the creek and it has a shaded trail. There is a place to eat under shelter. I'm so grateful I found this gem.

Overall a nice nature preserve with some great trails. One of the trail apps recommended a trail that's not completed and says at the preserve as proposed trail. There is some more than average trail maintenance going on in some areas but the maps at the trailhead doesn't mention any new trails. I liked all of the trails. Each one offered a different challenge. There are creek crossings, moderately steep parts of some trails and some that had lots of curves.

We were trying to follow the 3 mile trail on All Trails but could not keep on the right track. Trails are good if you like narrow bushy buggy trails. Even trying to follow their marked trails was super confusing it was dry so no mud but I can see how that would get super muddy on a rainy day. I would call this trail more difficult to moderate. Lots of elevation changes. Not accessible. We watched a couple try to take a baby stroller….they caved and left after a few feet. I think it’s a good trail for those that like it a little more woodsy and have a good sense of trail direction.

I have been here a few times with my dog, and I have noticed that a lot of people bring their kids or come to train or walk their dogs. This being said, be on the lookout for untrained, off leash pups. This can be great and also unfortunate for me because there is also lots of space at the entrance for us to work on my dogs reactivity, but the trails are also very narrow, so passing people and dogs on the trail can be a whole production. My dog loves the easy access to the creek!
